Problem
For individuals with dietary restrictions, allergies, dietary needs or nutritional needs, it is difficult for them to decide what to eat and what to avoid.
Research
To identify what users needed, we did PACT analysis with our persona. Then, we did Benchmark analysis to see the market competitors and trends. After gathering all the ideation on features, we used MOSCOW analysis to structure our system map or information architecture.

In conclusion, our team decided to create an app powered by AI to tackle all those needs and goals.
Product Description: PlateMate is an AI driven app, where users can build a personalized profile or profiles for all those under their care to tackle all dietary needs and goal with ease.

The sea green color was not too vibrant and not too dull of a color. It also went well with the white background. The goal was to make the UI simple while tying in all the different features, datas, and data visualizations.
We wanted the app to look trustworthy, clean, modern, and welcoming.

Self Revision on PlateMate After Audit
During audit session, we had to hand over our project to another group as we took on their project. Both the teams were at the same stage with their projects, as in finalized branding, mascot, style guides and whole finished package. We all made revisions on each other’s project with only the UX research package. Once the audit was done, we got our project back for self revision.

Key Takeaways
Through this project, I had the ability to learn about MoSCoW analysis, which I had no previous knowledge of. With research methodology it was very beneficial in the terms of deciding which features of the app should be higher in the system, or which is a must have. It prevented things like unnecessary features and confusing user flow of the app.
Next Steps
If I had more time to work on this project, I would like to explore more on the abilities of AI, input and output tools, and sensors to increase efficiency of the app.
