Description
Displayed here are novel covers and creative contents that I made for Wattpad Stories. There are covers, banners, GIFs to showcase my abilities as a designer and my passion for creating graphic contents. I have a passion for doing these kind of projects during my free time. It allows me to showcase my creative ability. Most importantly, creating these images aided my learning in utilizing a variety of tools and refining my skills.
Sacrifice
It's an Elijah Mikaelson (The Originals) fanfic. This cover is heavy on Purple colour and dark because Purple is usually associated with the word royalty, mystery, nostalgia, and calm. All of which words could be used for the two main characters, both are royalties in unique ways and have a calm personality. They share a past together. Their story is is difficult and mysterious. When picking the photos to edit and layout, I noticed that I can figure out a way to make one character, look at the female to represent his feelings and maybe his intentions towards her. And the two leads not looking at him, makes this event better because in the story he is someone, who is overlooked, mysterious, and underestimated, despite his strong presence and role in the story. For this cover, I was trying to play with the tools on Photoshot, to edit the lighting, saturation, hue, gradient effects, and touch ups on the background removal. And Canva for the background, type, and vintage effect.
The Beast
It's an Edward Cullen (Twilight) and The Originals crossover fanfic, where the female lead is an Upgraded Hybrid, and to show that, I coloured her eyes red, similar to another character in the show The Originals. I tried to make the background similar to the area in Forks, due to the setting of the story. As for the type, I wanted to represent the story's overall feel, which is thriller, suspense, and romantic. For this cover, I used Photoshot, to edit the lighting, saturation, and hue. And Canva for the background, type, and vintage effect.
Saving Mikaelsons (Publish Date TBD)
This is another The Originals fanfic, about the existing character, Hope Mikaelson and her journey of time travelling to save her dead family members, The people on the top edge. I made the main character, Hope, stand in the middle of a big Triangle. The reason behind the Triangles was simple, because she is a Tribrid, a creature of three species (Witch, Werewolf, and Vampire), and she is trying to save three important people of her life. The 3 was very important aspect in the story and about the character. For the typefaces, I wanted a handwriting type because writing was used in the periodic time that she is time travelling to, instead of texting, and her father prefers writing too. The "Saving" part was San Serif to make the intention of the story clear and important. The color Blue, also hold value, because of Hope's past and eye color during a certain stage in the original plot. For this cover, I used Photoshot, to edit the lighting, saturation, and hue. And Canva for the triangles, the blue mist, and type.

My First Love
This is another The Originals, Klaus Mikaelson, fanfic. I really wanted an elegant, suited photo for this one. I found the actor's photoshop in a suit and then a photoshoot of Selena Gomez in a dress, which was the easy part. But the difficult part was matching the lighting, the saturation, the ambiance with an appropriate background and editing of the photos, while maintaining the original skin tones for the two characters. All of the photo editing was done on Photoshop and then moved to Canva to add type and background. The Golden feel, is to represent the power, both are very strong and powerful characters in both personality and species-wise. But the Golden is also to represent royalty-ish bloodline, light and calm ambiance, and the love for the two.

For these GIFs, I used PhotoPea to merge and edit the GIF, and Canva to integrate the typefaces.
